PIE SAFES

Custom built pie safes, built using reclaimed bardwood siding, punched tin doors, and reclaimed hardware. It is believed that the pie safe was first introduced in the United States in the 1800s by German immigrants who would come to be known as the Pennsylvania Dutch.

PIE SAFE

A Pie Safe is a cupboard with doors featuring decorative tin panels, originally designed to store pies after baking. For a good part of the 19th century, a very important piece of furniture sat in the middle of many kitchens. We hand make these rustic pie safes to be a humble decoration for your home. Our tin door panels can be pierced or wavy, best for matching your unique style.
